WELCOME TO POMONA CATHOLIC ATHLETICS and the home of Pacer Athletics
Welcome back to another school year, and with it, another year of Pacer athletics. There has been lots of hard work being put in this Summer by the coaches and players in preparation for the upcoming sports seasons. I am excited to say that we are lucky to have brought back most of our coaches from last year, as well as blessed to add some new faces to our athletic program. Coach Scippio Stubbs will transition from the assistant coach in soccer, to the head coach in basketball. A warm welcome to a couple new coaches this year. Assistant coach John Phan will be assuming the head coaching responsibilities in volleyball while coach Mark Mina is recovering on medical leave. Our prayers are with coach Mark for a speedy recovery. Also, Coach Rhiannon Rodriguez will take over as head coach of the first ever Frosh/Soph volleyball team, as well as take over the head coach duties for the Beach volleyball program. Coach Rhiannon is also an alum of Pomona Catholic, so we are thrilled to have her back leading our girls on the court and in the sand.
We are anticipating another exciting and hopefully successful sports year and are hoping to bring home some league championships and deep playoff runs. The girls have been working hard to get better to represent PC athletics. I am so proud of their commitment and dedication on the court and on the field to be the best they can be and represent PC!
Please join me in supporting all our teams and athletes this school year. We pray that they perform to the best of their ability while also staying safe and protected always. I thank all of you for your continued support of Pomona Catholic athletics and look forward to seeing you at the games.

ATHLETIC HIGHLIGHT
Scholar-athletes have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports throughout the year. We offer a range of sports, fielding varsity, junior varsity, and freshmen teams. Our teams focus on building self-confidence, teamwork dedication, and determination.
The athletic program offers all students an opportunity to explore, develop and fine-tune their skills while gaining valuable playing time. Good sportsmanship is instilled in each of our students through the integration of the gospels values during training, practice, and gameplay. Partnerships with local organizations provide facilities for our students to practice and play. Our boosters program offers an avenue for parents to be directly involved in the success of their scholar-athlete.
Pomona Catholic's athletic teams have earned both state and national recognition including a strong tradition of championship titles. Our Scholar-Athletes empowered by their experiences at Pomona Catholic have gone on to compete at the collegiate level. Many are recruited with athletic scholarships from colleges and universities across the country.
