Welcome to Pomona Catholic (PC) Pacers Volleyball.
I hope you and your athlete are as excited as I am to embark on a new era of volleyball here at PC! My name is Mark Mina and I’ve been a volleyball coach for over 30 years for intermediate, high school, club and college programs.
MISSION STATEMENT: Achieving success, developing skills and building self-confidence through preparation, dedication and teamwork.
OBJECTIVE: Our main objective is to forge a bond of unity (Colossians 3:14) through skill building, interpersonal relationships, and a clear understanding of each player’s role on the team.
EXPECTATIONS: As a program we have certain expectations of our athletes. Among them are communication, timeliness, readiness, and attentiveness. We will communicate mainly through a team app (Band or Team App), however my number and email will also be provided for any players/parents who wish to communicate with me privately. As practices, games and meetings are set within the season, there will be an expectation of timeliness. We will elaborate more on these and other expectations as the season moves forward.
ATTENDANCE: All school rules and CIF rules apply. Absences and tardies will be tracked through the season. We are looking forward to a great season with your athlete!
